 From the Charlotte Observer

Ben Bost died peacefully at his home in Charlotte, North Carolina on October 17, 2018. He was born in Hickory, North Carolina on July 28, 1975. Ben Bost was the founder and CEO of Smartway of The Carolinas. Ben will be remembered for his keen intellect, razor sharp wit, and his abiding love for his family, friends, and the Tar Heels. At the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill, Ben was a member of the Phi Gamma Delta fraternity and graduated from the UNC School of Law.

He was a golfer, an accomplished musician, and an ardent fan of all things Carolina. That bond was a center piece to many of the best times of his life. Ben made any gathering richer and more memorable by his very presence.

For the final 11 months of his life, Ben fought with relentless courage and good humor as he survived a stroke that left him a quadriplegic. Ben loved his life and most importantly loved his family. He is survived by his wife Natalie, their daughters Ebie and Marian, their sons Eli and Alex Jackson, his brother Will Bost, mother Judy Bost, his father and step-mother Joe and Jennifer Bost, and Natalie's parents Marian and Mitchell Bennett.

Please wear Carolina blue to celebrate Ben's life at his home on Tuesday, October 23rd from 2-4 pm. Parking will be available at the Myers Park Country Club Tennis Center located at 2600 Sharon Road Charlotte, North Carolina.
